The Prophet (pbuh) said:
“Take benefit of five before five:
your youth before your old age,
your health before your sickness,
your wealth before your poverty,
your free-time before your preoccupation,
and your life before your death.”
Time itself has no time for us, and never will it stand still for us. Instead it runs away at a pace greater than we would wish for but inside an invisible cloak. It tries to force weakness upon everything it touches apart from the few who stand the test of time. A rather difficult ordeal but only because we make it harder than it needs to be and allow excuses to plague our minds to facilitate a whirlpool of postponement. The world sits comfortably under its blanket; of naivety, ignorance or just contemptible rejection? After all, time is not as unfriendly and hostile as it seems – it just will lend its hand to you for a moment, will only offer a fragment of itself, nothing more. Regrettably, understanding lends its ears to this truth only when the good friend – finality, death – catches up with the trail of time.
Whatever words you want to convey, say it. Whatever actions you want to perform, do it. Seize your opportunity whilst you still can right now.
